Curt Wolf from US Armament did a copy of the Colt gattling gun. Colt caught wind of it and tried to sue him. Then they hit it off and he became Colt Classics doing the 1903 General Officers PIstol He is now “retired” but the guys at the shop still do some cool shit between government contracts just because they want to or want one too. I have one of the dual Ruger gattling gun setups I want to put two binary triggers in. |

As long as you aren't leading the bore, 3-4 wet patches a couple dry patches a WD-40 patch and a storage oil patch is all it takes. a quick wipe with a wet patch of the action and muzzle followed by WD-40 and storage oil and I'm done. Now with 10 barrels that will take longer. But with some planning to economize motion I bet it would be ready to store in under an hour. A local machinist in mid-MI made an earlier version that predated cartridges and used chamber stubs with percussion caps. He would show up at the 1980s Civil War events locally and demo it. As a young teen inspired by mechanical things and guns I'd seek his demo out every time we went to a CW event. |
