Good on Massie for voting against that nonsense. We should not be providing financial aid to Israel while being 40 trillion in debt. Being against zionism is not antisemitic, and not attending Netanyahu's address to congress is a good thing. Foreign leaders should not be addressing congress directly, that is foreign influence of our government.

Massie votes against massive deficit spending that makes him a Soro's puppet?   Massie calls out the Republican Speaker for voluntarily giving up 50 days legislative power instead of using the fact they control the House, Senate, and White House to get things done...and that makes him a Soro's puppet?  The last person Soro's would engage with would be Massie.

Massie would make a damned good governor. Only thing would be this state's huge debt, currently sitting at $61.7 billion. That's a lot for a state with only 4.5 million folks.

Here is that ad you are talking about. The first image has "This ad is satirical and created by AI" and boomers and people here still believed it.

Anti Massie ad shows Massie having a threesome with AOC and Ilhan Omar having a threesome

Are you talking about the $6.6 million that Kentucky 4th PAC spent?  PAC money doesn't go to a candidate.  They can't "take it" or even legally "coordinate with" a PAC.

Tamarack Aspen Inc., a Delaware 501(c)(4) nonprofit created just days before the PAC registered. It has a Dallas FedEx mailbox address and almost no public footprint. The actual person or people who funded Tamarack Aspen have not been identified.
Massie's own campaign committee raised roughly $5.5 million to $8.8 million for the cycle
Billionaire Jeff Yass put $7.5 million into Protect Freedom PAC; that group then sent $1 million to another pro-Massie PAC (Kentucky First PAC).

I can’t think of anything a far leftist has said (of any consequence) that has not been shown to be false. But I’m willing to concede I may have missed a couple of things. Therefore, historically, I am safe starting out with the assumption they are either lying or simply wrong.

sure they can't "coordinate" with super PACs directly.  But that was fully 1/3 of the total pro massie spend in the campaign. Do you honestly think a candidate doesn't know who is doing that?  Do you honestly think 6 million doesn't buy you something?

I'm way to cynical to believe that. in fact its laughable.

the israel lobby didn't pull that bullshit. There wasn't a massive contribution to that side that was intentionally obfuscated from the public.

From what I read that PAC spent money on attack ads for Ed.  Massie might not have had anything to do with that.  The businesses people that Massie has been favorable to might have fought to keep Ed out.  For example, Biden gutted the Hemp industry in Kentucky and Trump/Congress has done nothing to change it.  Massie was always trying to defend them.  Hard core right leaning people often thing "hemp = pot" so a PAC for the hemp industry hiding their identity to bash Ed would make sense.

Today Spearker Johnson is crying about "if the Dems win they turn the committees into investigative bodies".  What a fucking cry baby.  Why didn't he do that, if it is such a powerful move?  Why did he voluntarily give up power and the ability for Republican committees to investigate for another 50 days?  Speaker Johnson is the worst Speaker of the House ever.  Voluntarily sending everyone home so nothing can be accomplished and then crying about things the Dems will accomplish when they get power.  Speaker Johnson is acting like a little bitch...and he is 3rd inline to be President!

Um...you realize that would only be an attack on Trump if Trump was trying to protect pedophiles right?  Also, Trump campaigned on the disclosing all the Epstein information.  So Massie attacked Trump by trying to hold Trump to his own word?

Wow, I can't believe Massie gets donations from American businesspeople who have Arab names, that's so crazy.

It looks like they donated to Dems in 2021-2023ish, and Massie + MTG more recently.   Are you upset by the fact that someone might have switched parties?

Most large businesses donate to both parties so that no matter which one wins they have strings to pull.

I doubt that was the reason for those donations. For one thing, it doesn't make sense to donate to Massie for that reason considering the specific situation he was in.
Exactly, the only wealthy donors creating a PAC to help Massie at late in the game would be those he had already helped.  No one has shown where Massie helped any Left wing or anti-American entity.  Most his district is rural and farmers.  The hemp or beef industries would be the most likely sources of the PAC funds.  Then obviously if those efforts didn't work those industries would not want to get blacklisted, so of course they hid their identity.   That's more logical than hypothical 5D chess move by Soros.

That's true. Pam fucked up and Trump amplified it.

But then Massie partnered with Dems to use it against Trump.

Simplistic take.

Of course it was an attack on Trump. Massie and the Democrats had no interest in Epstein until Pam fucked up and made it into a weapon that could be used against Trump. It isn't surprising the Democrats would weaponize that but Massie joined them to make it "bipartisan".

It was all about narrative framing. And Massie was happy to become a tool of the Democrats in the effort of harming Trump. It didn't pan out well for them, and backfired on Massie. But the backfire on Massie is because it revealed what a shit he was.

Again, if Trump had followed through on what he promised he would...this would even be an issue.  But go ahead and blame Massie and Dems for it.

Pam and Kash have done nothing they were promised to have done. So of course it became an issue.

All we heard the first several months, is all 3 of them were working on it to make it happen.

Then Trump turned it into "If you ask about Epstein you are not MAGA and I don't want your support".

Trump, then started various attacks on Massie...and Massie responded.

Everything about that whole scenario was created by Trump and controlled by Trump.  But go ahead and blame the guy who never changed his position or what he stood for.

It is 100% on Massie that he decided to leverage that to attack Trump and become a tool of Democrats. He owns that and deserved the electoral result he got.

That action revealed Massie as an unprincipled grifter.

Trump's mistakes made it possible, but Trump has always been flawed. But he has virtues that have overcome his flaws. Massie's virtue was only just his libertarian principals, but those principals count for nothing when you are enabling a snake like Khanna to attack Trump.

Preach it. One more than other, but other sure as hell deserves it.

No, it's not. Countries only have the right to exist to the extent that they can defend themselves. America exists because we can defend ourselves without reliance on others.

Loyalty to Trump is more important to you than the virtue of standing by principles?   Being loyal isn’t good when he’s not honoring his promises. Like the one to bring justice and accountability to the child rape industry. How is this even an argument? Not to minimize getting WW3 instead of Trump’s promise to end war or anything. That one you could at least pretend it has merit.

I just asked Brave if Massie’s values were more conservative or libertarian and got this back. I think it’s the best endorsement for a candidate ever. It makes him sound like a founding father. That’s a man I would vote for. The best politician we could get.

“Thomas Massie is a self-described libertarian-conservative and constitutional originalist who served as a U.S. Representative for Kentucky’s 4th District from 2012 until his primary defeat in 2026.  His political philosophy centers on strict fiscal restraint, limited federal government, and individual civil liberties, often prioritizing constitutional limits over party loyalty.

His core values include:
Fiscal Conservatism: Earned the nickname “Mr. No” for consistently voting against federal spending increases, including the 2020 stimulus bill and Trump’s “One Big Beautiful Bill Act,” which he viewed as a debt bomb.

Non-Interventionism: A staunch antiwar advocate who opposed foreign aid (including to Israel), refused AIPAC campaign contributions, and resisted measures expanding war powers or warrantless surveillance.

Civil Liberties & Second Amendment: A member of the Second Amendment Caucus and Liberty Caucus, he champions gun rights and opposes broad federal surveillance programs, having worked with civil liberties groups against the Patriot Act.

Agrarian Self-Sufficiency: Described as a “libertarian agrarian,” he embodies a Southern Agrarian ethos emphasizing local self-reliance, small-farm roots, and minimal government interference in daily life.

Constitutionalism: He frames most positions in constitutional terms, arguing for strict adherence to enumerated federal powers and Tenth Amendment pri”

We need a Republican AG and Gov that will investigate everything Beshear did and expose all of it.  The billion dollars in fraud they found, the nearly billion dollars in covid funds he received and did who knows what with.  Who is behind is mandatory "pre-school for all"...which is just a ploy to strip kids away from their parents and get them indoctrinated by liberal school system faster.

Massie stands on principle and would be a solid Governor...I would like a bulldog though.  I know, wishful thinking on my part.

Massie was always irrelevant in the House.  His vote was never needed for anything.  Trump could have said "Massie who?" and just ignored him.  That would have been more harmful to Massie's political career that drawing attention to him and getting him press coverage.
