I remember they had DeLoreans in there too... they had a red one that looked great.. That's pretty cool. I may have met him, name sounds familiar... back in the 80's my dad took me to STChevy, can't remember exactly what was going on and I think we met my uncle there too, anyway in the shop they had some classic cars and they were really excited about this Allard race car. They were telling me how rare it was, had a Cadillac motor... the owner was there I met him and shook his hand, I think it may have been John. I think we went over just to see the car  My grandfather raced cars and had a couplea dealerships over the years... not in Tacoma but he grew up there and had his family there into the 60's, his sons were both in the business...all those car people know eachother and their families. People may not know that Tacoma has always had a really robust car culture, alotta neat people and neat car stuff has come outta there. |
