bring back 6 stacks a month base cost, and thats before token based billing. soon. subsidizing the consumer market will likely die by '30 or so. then the poors who want access will largely attempt gargling the ballbag of those w .dow acesss and those w bloombag terminals, etc. a new split class emerges, just as communism intended. hope your wives arent fat and know how to shoot and e&e your fam |

AI just blew up all the gatekeepers. I can now generate AI art, animate it, create a voice for it, create a song for it, and now I'm making 5 to 20m videos. Learn to Prompt. |

How many hours did it take to develop the skill to be able to draw that picture? I have a similar story to yours. Took up drawing when I was young. Got good enough to win some awards in competition outside of school. Then stopped because I got to busy living and working. Last year I was doodling with my kids and cranked out a rough piece real quick, and they were blown away. Couldn’t believe that I could draw like that. It made me realize I’d been ignoring it and I’ve picked up a pencil and paper more often now. I’ve played with AI art and it’s not the same. Not nearly as satisfying as crafting art with my hands. I found it to be pretty soulless and the opposite of creative. |

I found it to be pretty soulless and the opposite of creative. Once I learned how to hold a pencil it was off to the races, in elementary school my teacher gave everyone a ditto copy of a parrot to let us draw our own version, I turned it in at the end of class and she accused me of tracing it, I showed her that my version was a little larger than the example that she wanted me to follow. Nope she didn't want to listen to me and had her mind made up and she gave me an "F" for that. I was devastated, and pissed, and I never did anything else art related in school until I got to high school where I had a art class and the teacher was simply amazing and let me flourish. The artist in me has always been in me and the only thing I needed to learn is how to use the "tool", pencil, brush, clay, camera, enlarger ect to express that onto the what ever medium I was using. What comes out of me not the tool I use, if I dig a hole with a shovel did the shovel dig the hole? |

I've been doing jigsaw puzzles lately and that's a big topic of conversation. That and the letters on the back. I pick puzzles that have images I won't mind looking at for the time it takes to put them together, I don't care if it's AI. I sometimes use the letters, sometimes I don't. Another cool AI thing is the ASMR videos on YouTube. Like this one ![]() The Enchanted Castle Courtyard | Peaceful Medieval Music & Cozy Fantasy Ambience |

Are you looking at art on a video screen, or a physical rendering? I have folk art that has been in the family since the ‘70s, and met the artist in 2005. A $40 painting then is $1000 plus today. A group called the Highwaymen, in south Florida. Some have called it mass production Bob Ross painting. But still the direct human touch. There is a connection with the human brush to canvas that AI doesn’t have. |

AI art is machine made. It may be attractive to some people, but it will never be valuable. Also, the art in the OP is not at all attractive to me. I prefer this: Attached File |

They say "Art is in the eye of the beholder". Art is many different things to many different people, everyone is entitled to like what they like and dislike what they don't like. As long as I am doing something creative and using what ever outlet that lets me create, express myself and enjoy it I will. Even if a single person likes something I created i'm very ok with that but if you don't i'm ok with that too. |

The generative AI that people are using to create images is good to satisfy their hobby or kill time. It lacks the fidelity and ability to be iterated on for the level of control stakeholders or AD's would want to be a public facing asset. It's a good tool for the concept phase but sharing outside that would be embarrassing. |
