It’s too quiet in here. I’m going to start shaming you guys into zeroing your weapons and training. Corgi_G’s rifle is zerod. Last year she beat about half of you on the range with 1 pistol penalty and 4 rifle penalties. She was the only one of the match to shoot in the rain and it was dusk, she timed out unable to see the last 2 small rifle targets on each side with plenty of ammo remaining. Don’t let Corgi_G out shoot you again. One handed pistol reload practice: Attached File You still have time to get your shit together. No excuses in November. |

I'm in for combat class on Saturday. Going to day trip it since we are from Waco. Bringing the daughter, so that one day she may know the glory. Wife too I suppose. ETA... I'm alumni. It will be cool to see old faces from back in the day. |

Went and made sure all my guns were zero'd etc. Blew through several hundred rounds just messing around. Didn't pay attention to which ammo can I was reloading mags from. Thought I was loading 55gr M193 but instead blasted through almost all of my 75gr OTM.  |

Yeah, I don't like pushing things to the last minute any more than the next guy, but the family wants to cheer me on (laugh and finger point) and there is no way to drag the family the previous days due to work and school. It will just be one more layer of suck getting up early then commuting; but we only live an hour away. It is what it is: I'm just happy that Cola-Warrior is still a thing, and the community is still active. |

The exact instructions were more along the lines of- zero your rifle and know your holds with the ammo you will use on game day lol. So many times I’ve asked struggling shooters, “are you zeroed with this ammo?” “Yes” *continues to miss even with help on where elevation and wind should be* Excuses after chug: well I switched ammo last week…  If your rifle is zeroed at 100, I can talk you into the targets if you’re struggling. If you’re not zeroed, then may the odds be ever in your favor. |
