Shocking that anyone would object to having a safe secure landing pad for the POTUS helicopter. With all the growing islamic anti-American BS going around we are going to need better security now - thanks to FJB and the democrat party. |

Problem with the VH92 is two fold. 1: the APU was burning the grass. 2: The Door is on the wrong side of the helicopter for the approach. so when it comes in for a landing, it has to pedal turn so the door faces the white house. When we were working on it, there was a ton of talk about modifying the airframe to put another door on it, so they could continue to use the same approach. It was mocked up several times, but it was eventually scrapped, and the decision was made to put the pad in. Additionally we tried to do an upturned exhaust for the APU, but that was scrapped too. The pad solved it all. It was a fun project to work on. |

| It looks really nice, especially with the helicopter sitting on it. I knew he was doing a lot of renovation projects but of course the media doesn't show it, the capital should be something to be proud of, not the rundown, third world looking dump it was approaching. The statues looked old and tired old last time I was there which was over a decade ago. |
