Lack of consistency, lack of discipline on the coaching staff and too little attention to detail is an ongoing problem with DeBoer. The call against Bama for two players on the field with the same number is the third time that’s been called since he took over. That only happens once on a disciplined coaching staff. That’s what separates championship caliber coaches from the rest and if he hasn’t embraced that in three seasons he’s not going to. |

It’s certainly a different philosophy than those coaches that came before him. The slow starts are not helping, but when they get clicking, the Bama offense has a lot of weapons at their disposal to light it up. |
