JDM Casio lineage LCW-M100TSE-1A2 Brother bought it in Japan for me for 120 bucks new. Solar, atomic sync, lcd screen, back light, auto dst, titanium case and band, sapphire crystal, Pretty much the perfect 'fancy' Casio. Why they don't sell this model elsewhere is a mystery.

I have a ~$100 Bertucci. Solid lugs that are integrated with the case, and an offset crown that's less prone to getting snagged on pack straps. The bezel has an exaggerated rise above the crystal, so it's a bit more bump tolerant compared to those with lower profile bezels.

I really like my Lum-Tec Combat B It's a pretty decent automatic movement, and I love the design/style. About $950 new, I think.

Much to be had in that price range especially if you do a little digging. But ill just add that you can definitely have a little fun assembling your own. A few ones I cant seem to keep off my wrist:     I'm addicted to Seiko's Lumibrite so i tend to acquire their OEM dials and anything else i can find. Eta: And a couple few builds ive mostly since gifted off:
