No experience with the RBR, but I have been using the SC-2 for about a year and a half now, and it kicks the crap out the old PSAGT. Just make sure that you adjust it properly so that it doesn't sit on top of your head like a bike helmet.

RBR was pretty much the first with a true ballistic helmet. Original PSAGT is not ballistic rated.

I haven't been shot while wearing one, nor will I volunteer for that duty - LOL. The guys at the company are good to work with and responsive to customer needs. Call them up and talk.
