Looks like the P320 will be the new sidearm of the Swiss Army despite not fulfil one technical requirement and also led to “non-approval for troop suitability”. However, all safety-relevant aspects were assured. The manufacturer has now promised “binding” improvements.

However the P320 was again a much cheaper option while the G45 was the only firearm to meet all requirements of the trials.
