You'll like the area, lots to do in Harrisburg, just don't venture into the in city residential areas. You can tour our capital building, the state museum, The Px at Indiantown ain't that great being a Guard post for the Twentyeighth Div. but the Fort is in rather quick driving distance of the Carlisle Barracks which has a Comissary , Px and Class Six! You will also be about an Hours drive from the Getysburg Battlefield about 30 miles away! Gettysburg is a must see!!! |
My Jeep is currently in the back of my truck  . A guy in KY wants to buy the truck for more than I paid for it, so I'm gonna sell it. Dropping the truck off in KY, unload the Jeep, and continue on to PA .Job out at the Gap may turn into a full time teaching position at the EAATS (www.eaats.state.pa.us/). Positin will be AGR instructor at the Black Hawk transition, so hard to pass up. Either way, I can get another truck anywhere and start driving again. Aviator |
