For all of those out there that shave your head, how do you get that little spot above your ear?

Like where the sideburn meets the hair of the head.  I'm afraid to really get in there and try to get it with a razor because I don't want to slice my ear off.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If you aren't talking mach 3 bald, just hold the ear down with one hand and take the edge of the clippers and clip.  Works for me.

I use a braun electric with no probs. never had prolems with a blade either. Grab the ear and pull to side and shave area? Thats what I did.

I tried the whole shaving my head with a Braun thing.  Dulled the blades in about a month and a half.

I'm talking shaving cream and razor here.  I've folded my ear over, still can't in that little area.

Damn it sucks to be hairy.

+1

Shave gel works much better than cream.

I use my nostril hair trimmers for those single runaways that appear... or is it the shrubbery that has started appearing on the lobe... I forget...

+1, also on that spot I turn the razor upside down & go against the grain. A few swipes & I'm clean as a whistle.

Like Sumo said, cut away from your ears.

Then again my advice is shaky, I took a slice about the size of a dime off just in front of my ear when I was in a hurry before a personnel inspection.  Still doesn't fill in.

It just doesn't grow there for me....I just wish they made something that would make it not grow back.

I clip it Low and Slow and then hit it dry shaven with pink Bics. Helps me reach my sadistic sensitive side. ahahha (I am serious about dry with the Bic though.)

I'm very nervous about nicking my ears.  Did it twice in the last few months and I've had hell getting it to stop bleeding.

Mach III?  I'm too poor for Mach III's.  I'm still using the original Sensor.  I have progressed to gel over cream.  When I've used cream, I would have stubble in an hour or two.  With gel it takes about half a day.

I have to go against the grain on just about every bit of my head.  If I don't, my scalp feels like one big piece of sandpaper.
