In Novosibirsk, people in military uniforms were spotted near a polling station, who, it is claimed, are handing out draft notices and offering to sign contracts with the Ministry of Defense. Near polling station No. 2013 in Novosibirsk, individuals in military uniforms were present during voting. In photos and videos published (https://t.me/roman_nasvyazi/1175) by activist Roman Malozemov, they are standing near the building at Krasny Prospekt, 75 — this address houses Precinct Election Commission No. 2013, located in the dormitory of Siberian State University of Water Transport. Malozemov shared a message from one of the voters: “Went to the elections, and at the river dorm in Novosibirsk (Krasny 75), the draft board is set up and taking all the guys. They're issuing them some kind of notices—is this even legal?”. Later, the same man reported to him: “Managed to vote, but almost all the men were very insistently offered to sign a contract; I practically ran out of the polling station.” Photos, video: Roman Malozemov

In case anyone forgot who Julian Assange works for: In 2016, Assange refused to publish a Russian military and intelligence dump on the Russian invasion of Crimea and Donbas. In 2012, Assange refused to publish a leak on a 2 billion euro transaction between the Syrian dictatorship and a Russian government bank.

This morning, Anduril founder Palmer Luckey said he has personally raised the stalled US$14 billion Taiwan arms package with President Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio. Luckey said the delay is affecting Anduril’s business with Taiwan and attributed broader U.S. caution to China’s leverage over critical supply chains, including rare earths, electronics, and military components.

Zelensky claims that, for the first time, Ukraine used their domestically-produced FP-7 "Pelican" ballistic missile in combat on an unspecified target (not in Moscow Oblast, as it is not within range). Other munitions reportedly used by Ukraine in their massive overnight combined attack (Moscow Oblast and other regions) included FP-1, RZ-100 "Morok" drones, Lyutyi, and MICH-2000 long-range drones; Vendetta and Sych mid-range drones launched by a larger mother drone; as well as Palyanytsia and Bars jet-drones.
I didn't think it would be necessary to talk about it. But the Pelican in the president's address is an ordinary drone. Not ballistics. https://t.me/kiber_boroshno/13533 |

Russian Ministry of Defense has doubled down saying their clearance of Sviatohirsk is continuing. This was disputed a few weeks ago with General Biletsky of the Ukrainian 3rd Army Corps filming a video there saying it's actually a rear area for their unit. There is no evidence to support the Russian claim.

This morning, the Ukrainian 🇺🇦 army struck several targets in Moscow 🇷🇺, including the refinery for the 4th time this year. More than a thousand drones and missiles have been launched at Russia. This compilation of maps by @oko_gora_tg shows the flight paths of Ukrainian drones in September 2026. Key takeaways from this latest attack: 🔸Moscow's air defense is highly effective; the majority of drones are shot down—which makes sense given that over 140 air defense systems are deployed there. 🔸Despite this five-layer air defense, some drones manage to get through; Ukraine is therefore employing a strategy of concentrating on and saturating a specific area. 🔸This time, Kyiv did not strike fuel depots but targeted critical sections of the refinery directly. During the June attack, the refinery sustained partial damage and only resumed operations in August. 🔸Looking at the Ukrainian strategy, the saturation phase began earlier, around September 17. Ukrainian drones cost less than air defense missiles, meaning this relentless defense comes at a high cost to Moscow. 🔸This marks the seventh attack on a Russian refinery this month and the 91st since the start of the year. This strains Russia's refining capacity and exacerbates fuel shortages in many regions. 🔸Finally, at least 10 different types of drones and missiles were used, demonstrating that Kyiv is accelerating the development of its strike capabilities—albeit lagging somewhat behind Russia, which employed this saturation strategy between 2023 and 2025 but uses it less frequently today.
New footage filmed by Moscow residents now also shows a Ukrainian Morok high-speed strike drone flying over the city during today’s attack. Morok is a piston-powered, propeller-driven long-range strike drone that stands out for its unusually high speed for this class. So far, local footage from Moscow has captured FP-1, Liutyi, MICH-2000, Morok, Flamingo debris, and an unidentified jet-powered drone, likely Palianytsia or Bars.

The statement claims the U.S. has been given a "green light" by unnamed regional countries at a joint meeting in Europe to resume action against Iran. It warns that any U.S. "mistake" against Iran will result in continuous, effective, and painful attacks on American bases and interests in the region, without restriction. The statement also warns regional countries aligning with what it calls the "Great Satan's aggression" against Iran that they will be treated as partners in that aggression and should not expect restraint from Iran's armed forces.

Two Hamas terrorists who invaded Israel during the October 7, 2023, onslaught and another member of the terror group's elite Nukhba Force were killed in recent strikes in the Gaza Strip, the military and Shin Bet security agency announce. A strike on Saturday killed Yahya Hamdouna, identified by the IDF and Shin Bet as a member of Hamas who invaded Israel on October 7. The military and security agency say a separate strike over the weekend killed Mohammad Rafa'i, a member of Hamas's Daraj-Tuffah Battalion who invaded Israel on October 7, and Basir al-Barsh, a Nukhba commander. The three terrorists had been advancing attacks on troops and Israeli civilians, and acting to restore Hamas's capabilities, "in systematic violation of the ceasefire," the joint statement says, adding that they were killed "to remove the threat." “2.1mn sq m of the country’s 5mn sq m of modern warehouses have been destroyed, with 900,000 sq m alone hit in recent months, according to Ruslan Shostak… Earlier this month, ballistic missile strikes disabled Ukraine’s three major remaining steel plants in the industrial heartlands of the Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions… ‘As of today, [Ukraine] doesn’t have a steel industry any more,’ Oleksandr Vodoviz, head of the chief executive’s office at Metinvest… ‘They knew everything about the plant, they knew exactly where to hit,’ Vodoviz said. Ballistic missiles targeted the blast furnaces at the three plants, including two owned by Metinvest and an ArcelorMittal factory in Zelenskyy’s native city of Kryvyi Rih. Metinvest and ArcelorMittal said the factories — which together made up 90 per cent of the country’s steel output — were now idle… Russia’s blockade of the Black Sea is also costing Ukraine about 1.5 per cent of GDP, according to government estimates. Agriculture minister Taras Vysotskyi said alternative routes allowed Ukraine to export only 40 per cent of its normal agricultural volumes.” @fabrice_deprez https://ft.com/content/0ecc81ad-2119-4763-90fb-ba5d399d913d

I’ve been thinking about Fury’s simplicity mostly as a manufacturing decision. This article made me realize there’s another side to it. The Air Force says its CCA unit has been operating at roughly one maintainer per aircraft during recent exercises, and they’re finding the aircraft simple enough that Airmen from different specialties can be trained to generate sorties and load weapons. Anduril says Fury is now down to a single operator flying it from a laptop, with hot reloads taking single-digit minutes. We just learned how much Anduril has simplified the production side of Fury at Arsenal-1. It looks like some of that same thinking carries through to what happens after the aircraft leaves the factory: how many people, how much equipment, and how much time it takes to actually keep one flying. https://www.airandspaceforces.com/air-force-cca-drones-large-scale-exercise-fly-emerald-flag/ |
Why taking out Russia’s S-400 systems is so critical right now. Ukrainian forces recently destroyed an S-400 missile launcher using FP-1 attack drones. But this isn't just about weakening Russia's air defenses anymore. According to Reuters, Russia has started repurposing target missiles (RM-48U) fired from these S-400 systems to strike ground targets across Ukraine. In July and early August, these converted missiles made up more than half of the 228 ballistic and hypersonic weapons launched at Ukrainian territory. Every S-400 launcher eliminated means one less platform for terror. |

U.S. company Perseus Defense has demonstrated the Mk-III Harpe air-defense missile during the Falcon Peak 26.2 exercises in Arizona, which focused on countering unmanned aerial vehicles. An eight-missile launcher for the system was showcased during the exercises. The Mk-III is 0.61 m (2 ft) long and reportedly has a range of up to 2 km (1.2 miles). The missile is designed to intercept small Group 1–2 drones weighing up to 25 kg (55 lb) through kinetic impact, using a direct hit rather than a warhead. The reported cost is approximately $2,500 per missile, while the guidance method has not been disclosed. |
MORE: The Russian MoD claimed on September 19 that Russian forces have seized over 5,300 square kilometers and more than 220 settlements in Ukraine since the start of 2026, including over 670 square kilometers and 27 settlements so far in September 2026. ISW has observed evidence to assess that Russian forces have seized only 147.7 square kilometers and 40 settlements, but have lost a net of 20 settlements in 2026. Including areas into which Russian forces have infiltrated but do not control brings the total Russian gains to 718.8 square kilometers this year, still far below the Russian MoD’s September 19 claims. ISW has observed evidence to assess that Ukrainian forces, on the other hand, have liberated at least 972.56 square kilometers and 60 settlements in 2026. The Russian MoD’s September 19 claims are part of a longstanding Kremlin effort to use aggrandized claims of battlefield advances to convince Ukraine and its partners that Ukrainian defenses will collapse and that Ukraine should surrender in the face of an allegedly inevitable Russian victory. Exaggerated Russian claims likely also result from the culture of pervasive lying within the Russian military. Ukrainian forces have, in fact, successfully contested both the strategic and the operational initiative since late 2025, having held Russian forces to near-zero gains since March 2026 and having conducted successful counterattacks that have liberated significant amounts of territory in the Kupyansk, Oleksandrivka, and Lyman directions. |

Two things from last night’s Kapotnya Refinery strike: the drones still get through, and Russian national refining levels are sitting on the demand floor. First, Ukrainian drones are still getting through to named units inside the Moscow region. The full air-defense picture over Russia remains hard to read. Moscow controls the data flow, so it is nearly impossible to say how many sites are hit or with how many drones. Russian intercept claims routinely exceed any plausible launch count. Kyiv does not publish the other side of that ledger either. I also know several large strikes over the past few months never made the official lists. FIRMS has shown heat anomalies at other locations on major nights. I am not ready to assign a percentage or fold those into metrics. Monitoring only, and searching for better sources. Back to oil. Kapotnya was hit several times in June and once in July. June damage was significant. The July pass likely reset part of the repair clock. The original timeline on units of this class was about six months. Last night was well timed: the plant was still running, just slower. National production look like about 3.2 mb/d now, down from 4.1 a month ago. Chart is the 30-day live series. Typical domestic use is 3.2–3.8 mb/d. Russia is importing product, but global capacity is tight, so production plus imports probably cannot cover the top of that band as demonstrated by the current widespread shortages. Once the mid estimate stays under 3.2, expect shortages stop being regional queues and become outages in the oblasts the Kremlin is willing to starve to keep Moscow and St. Petersburg supplied. Interested in any reliable Russian air-defense stats or even just full attacks beyond the headlines. |

BREAKING: The U.S. Space Force is turning commercial satellites into a standing global system for detecting and locating GPS jamming and other electronic interference, SpaceNews reports. The move takes a capability previously tested with commercial providers and makes it part of ongoing military operations worldwide. Satellites operated by companies including $HAWK HawkEye 360 can detect and geolocate radio-frequency emissions from orbit, allowing the military to identify where GPS interference is coming from rather than simply knowing that a signal has been disrupted. It is another step toward commercial space infrastructure becoming embedded directly into U.S. military operations - this time for monitoring the electromagnetic battlefield. |

Russia wants to find out if the US will actually commit to defending NATO or not. And we're giving them signs that we might not. I don't think there is any chance russia would mess with nato if the US were clear eyed about what we would do. Any other president would be sending reinforcements to the baltic states right now just to shut down any talk about russia invading. But we're currently doing the opposite and talking about bringing troops home. Its the wrong message at the wrong time. |

As you note, UK has lead in Estonia for NATO. But all troops there add up to a couple thousand. Let's be honest, NATO deployments in the Baltics are a tripwire force, not sufficient to defend against major ground invasion. And there's the old argument that we can see what they're doing therefore they cannot threaten the Baltics. Western ISR is the best, hands down. Western air power is the best. All true. But it's also not relevant. Putin deciding on attacking the Baltics has nothing to do with tactical-level forces present there. A greater issue is the recent comment by a NATO head of state saying "I don't want Slovakia to be part of any military conflict because of some Article 5." “Can you imagine, ladies and gentlemen, that Article 5 of the NATO treaty would be invoked?” he said. “Can anyone imagine that they would tell us: ‘Prepare 5,000 soldiers, 10,000 soldiers,’ and they will go to war somewhere? And we will not even know with whom, why and for what.” Slovakia BTW, would be a border state with Russia, if Russia defeats Ukraine. And it sounds like Fico is ready to play the part of buffer state. A NATO member, and unwilling to defend another NATO member. That's where you invite aggression. |
On Saturday, Hot Spot Fishing Charters, a Pensacola-based charter fishing company found and recovered a large distinctive delta-wing unmanned aerial vehicle in the Gulf of America, several miles off the western coast of Florida. The UAV, found by the charter group during a six-hour fishing tour, shares a striking resemblance with the Iranian Shahed-136, but is likely either a Low-cost Uncrewed Combat Attack System (LUCAS) or a Griffon Aerospace MQM-172 Arrowhead, both of which are American-built and designed copies of the Shahed. So far the U.S. Air Force and nearby Eglin Air Force Base have declined to comment on the discovery, with Hot Shot Charters stating that authorities arrived later in the day to retrieve the drone. |

Any other president would be sending reinforcements to the baltic states right now just to shut down any talk about russia invading. But we're currently doing the opposite and talking about bringing troops home. Its the wrong message at the wrong time. You were bitching we didn’t have enough troops in Estonia and I explained how the force there works. Any other president would be sending reinforcements to the Baltics right now? What information do you have, that you are basing that on? What information do we have on Russia’s plan? What information do we have that would require the proposed 25,000 troops else where? If the troops are planned on being needed in a different theater, how difficult would it be to move those 25,000 troops to other theaters in contested environments? Other Presidents would be making decisions off of those questions and answers not your feelings. Bringing the troops home? Where did we say that? In the force posture review is it not stated that we are reviewing moving forces into the Baltics from Western Europe? Lastly we are enabling and helping Ukraine to devastate Russia. Example are seen in this thread every day. Yet we are not going to defend the rest of Europe? |

But it's also not relevant. Putin deciding on attacking the Baltics has nothing to do with tactical-level forces present there. A greater issue is the recent comment by a NATO head of state saying "I don't want Slovakia to be part of any military conflict because of some Article 5." Slovakia BTW, would be a border state with Russia, if Russia defeats Ukraine. And it sounds like Fico is ready to play the part of buffer state. A NATO member, and unwilling to defend another NATO member. That's where you invite aggression. Did you not read the part where we have it set up for full brigades to arrive grab their equipment and fight? You acknowledge we have the best intelligence in the world but we wouldn’t reinforce the Baltics when we see a full invasion being prepared? Lol. So your thesis is we would see everything Russia is doing and just sit back and let them hit our “limited” forces on the ground? We wouldn’t surge additional forces into the region beforehand? NATO air forces in Europe wouldn’t just annihilate Russia ground forces? Seriously what kind of smooth brained response is this “And there's the old argument that we can see what they're doing therefore they cannot threaten the Baltics. Western ISR is the best, hands down. Western air power is the best. All true. But it's also not relevant.” I will agree that Slovakia is an issue. If they just sit on their hands and don’t participate in the near future though it’s not like we are losing much. Long term if Ukraine falls it’s much more of an issue. |

Look at RN in France, where Le Pen recently said she'd flat-out end aid to Ukraine - their national election is next year, also. What is Putin's goal? A multipolar world. Rebuilding Imperial Russia is only one side of the coin. Tearing down western power is the other side. If you get Fico's view repeated in Europe's biggest powers, NATO is in terminal decline. That seems destabilizing. What infuriates me is that the political Right in Europe is correct on domestic issues, but simultaneously wrong on Russia. I don't even understand why. Anti-immigration? Great. Pro-Russia? Uhh... no. |

A NATO member, and unwilling to defend another NATO member. That's where you invite aggression. Yes. And a defeat of a NATO force, be it American, British, whatever, may NOT be Putin's goal. It could likely be just a test of NATO resolve. Will all of NATO unify and act together? What would NATO do if something like a Crimea occurred in a NATO country? Some small province, region, or town on the border inside a NATO country when a few dozen "little green men" start popping off, shoot some local cops and border guards, take city hall, round up the population, bring in a reinforcements? I have no idea about geography in the Baltics or what, if any "disputed territories" may have Russian populations or whatever but this playbook has been used since Hitler (Sudetenland) and probably prior. It would NOT be a test of NATO on a battlefield but in the political leadership which is the obvious weak link. |
