Taxman and myself have plans to go to the show in ATL this weekend, the primary objective of this journey is to check out prices of "preban-never again made" items (and possibly a bit of heckling of really out there dealers).I will report back on the 13th. Edited to add: I just can't wait to hear the stories with the ban less than 48hrs from being gone, and no working days left to change that, basically there will be no way for the ban to be extended after friday afternoon, yet I have no doubt I will hear horror stories, of course honest dealers who are pricing accordingly will be rewarded from my wallet. |
That ought be fun!  I've got a local funshow coming up on 9 Oct. Maybe I'll heckle the hell out of those dealers with the still outrageous prices. The last show, a month ago, had mag prices down to reasonable levels but the guns were still high priced. |

| Sometimes I hate life. Had plans to do a little gun and mag shopping after the ban for me and the old lady and just replace the money with my tax returns. But thanks to my work schedule and my daughter starting school I now need a second vehicle. That takes quite a chunk out of my fun money. While pay has gotten considerably better from when I first joined and promotions have helped, the military still does'nt pay near enough to feed the addiction. Of course if you were to talk to my wife "I could be Bill Gates and still not be able to feed the addiction." I could'nt think of anything better to be addicted to though. |
