How do you eat pistacios? I hate having to dig them out one at a time takes too long to be able to pop one in your mouth. I tried shelling a bunch, then eating them a handful at a time, but they just don't taste as good that way

And thus, the Southern smile was born. I eat them one at a time. I prefer the plain kind. The red-dyed ones stain one's fingers. For $24, you can get a silver-plated opener, but there's a maximum IQ requirement to purchase one...

I love pistacios! I passed the bug to my kids and it drives the wife crazy when we're all sitting around eating them... I also love pistacio ice cream too! IRRC, Baskin Robbins use to have some excelletn pistacio ice crea! Mmmm, mmmm!  Helio, Who makes the peeled ones? |
