FN 5.7 Five-seveN Tactical Pistol w/Tac Rail

The Five-seveN Pistol is the companion weapon to the P90 sub-machine gun. The 5.7x28mm ammunition has the capability of penetrating body armor at extended ranges, yet has less felt recoil and is less prone to over-penetration. The Five-seveN Tactical is an easily concealable single action pistol with a 20-round magazine capacity. A maximum use has been made of composite materials in the frame and slide to result in an extremely light weight, 1.7 pound, design.

I was actually going to buy one until I read all of the reviews about the ammo and the effectiveness.

... now - to me at least - it seems to be a solution to a problem that doesn't exist. Kind of like the metaba semi-auto revolver I almost bought!

I thought the issue it was to address is defeating body armor and one ammo for p90 users.

Will 20-round magazines be available/imported after the ban sunsets? THat's kind of what I want to know, since that's part of the cool appeal to me of this gun.

Around here its like 25 bucks for 50 rounds. The pistols sell for about 650-700 NIB.

A local police dept was at our range last week.They had those and the p-90.Shot holes in a lot of the steel plates on the range they were on.

They should be getting the bill next week.
