Freedom toast; Cut white or sourdough bread in halves or thirds. Take 2C pancake mix and add enough water to make a thick batter. bread bread strips in thick pancake batter. deep fry in oil at 350 degrees'ish until crispy brown on both sides. serve with fresh hot maple syrup and a sprinkling of powdered sugar. enjoy will contemplating what total pussies the entire country of France has become.... |

I make mine with crushed wheat bread and add a pinch of nutmeg and a dash of vanilla extract to the egg. I've made it with french bread and it's good, but the thick or tougher crust kinda tore up my mouth. it's pretty good if you make it with that Pillsbury pop-open bread also. The crust isn't as tough as french bread. Nobody covered syrup. I eat my french toast with Karo corn syrup. Only occasionally with regular syrup. I save regular syrup for pancakes and waffles. |
yea it's sorta gay, admittedly. But it beats going over there and beating the living shit out of everyone you see till you get tired and then get thrown in jail. It's a line in the sand, a subtle "F-You" to France. It's a small gesture but still shows how we feel. |
