Does anyone know if it is legal to order hard alcohol/wines for other countries and have them sent to the U.S.? I was searching the net today for good Vodka and found a website that says they will ship to the U.S. from Moscow.

Just looking to see if anyone else has done this? And if it is legal to do.

Hmm... you can mail order wine... If you order alcohol from outside the country don't duties have to be paid on it though? I have no idea.

Coming back from Mexico with a few bottles of Tequila I was told I could only bring back a certain amount. Seems like it was one or two bottles. This was quite a few years ago and I don't know if it's relevant..

That's true I've done the same from Jamaica (w/rum). I think we had to declare how much we were bringing back when entered the US.
