We finally got a new computer & I'm in the game shopping mode & was wondering what everybody's playing & what's good & not so good. [changed "Cames" to Games - Paul] |

Rainbow Six 3 is a good realistic shooter and you can't go wrong with Counter-strike: Condition Zero. Also I have and enjoy, Call of Duty and The Hitman series. You're best bet if your new to games is to get Doom 3 this tuesday. A bit pricey at $55 but worth it. Also go to EB-Games or software Etc. at your local mall and check out their used computer games section. The only downside to comp games is you can't rent them first, so buying used is a great option and all are guranteeded to work. FarCry is an awesome game. I didn't like the stupid mutants, but it was still great. I honestly preferred the M4 over the G36 and OICW in that game. I preordered Doom 3 today at GameStop, so I should be able to pick it up on Wednesday or Thursday. It should kick major ass. Half-Life 2 is coming out here later on down the road and should be great as well. Call of Duty is great if you like WW2 stuff. Halo is an ok futuristic shooter game. Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield is also a great tactical shooter. You might want to pick up UFO: Aftermath. It's a good real time tactical strategy SHTF type game (it's not a first person shooter). Aliens invade the earth and it's up to you to put together a squad and defend the earth from the Aliens. Large assortment of weaponry to choose from (including M4s). |

yeah get that and get Battlefield 1942 the GFX arnt as good but there are lots of mods such as Desert Combat that let you fight in the midle east and Silent Hereos which is about a war betwen the sweeds and norway and Fergoten Hope which makes BF1942 more realistic America's Army is fun but not my game DO NOT GET HALF-LIFE OR COUNTERSTRIKE they are some of the WORST POS games EVER MADE |
Ha ha. How do you figure. CS is one of the most played games in video game history. It set the standard for online gaming. 5 years later, and it still has a huge following. How many other games can say that. |
Yeah and when the smack tards and cheat/hackers move to other games it makes them less enjoyable look at the Desert Combat mod for BF1942 at first it whas one of the best mods with almost no smacktards playing butt now.... well if you dont have a hart attack from them you will get mad and leave and never play the mod ever agen
