They then video tape the meeting complete with chatroom transcripts and personal info if it can be obtained. Profiles of both convicted child molestors and those who demonstated intent are on the website. To my knowledge not a single case has been persued by law enforcement. Most claim the manpower and resources to prosecute are not available despite existing documentation on the welbsite being available to them. |

I have a sister that just graduated from High School, and one of her teachers was caught on there! I'm glad that he was exposed, but I wish the cops could have busted him and locked him up! Especially considering the fact that he's a teacher. If he had pedophilia impulses, it's only a matter of time before he trys again, and probably hurts someone! |

A lot of PD's don't want to deal with the problem. I worked with an officer on a case with a fellow caught in one of the campus computer labs looking for kiddie porn. The guy was weeks away from marrying a woman who had a daughter in his age range, if you get my drift. I have video of the guy beating off in the lab thanks to the Ademco system. The school's administration didn't want to deal with it, and wanted it to be "taken care of quietly", meaning they don't want any bad press from it being known that pervs are using campus resources for kiddie porn. The officer, having two daughters, politely informed them that as a sworn LEO he WOULD be persuing charges whether the administration liked it or not. Got the guy on lewd acts, public indecency, and contributing to the delinquency. Almost had him on a manufacturing charge for trying to print out kiddie photos, but the first photo he tried was an adult woman. Sick freaks. And they are everywhere. Make no mistake about it. |
I'm trying really hard to believe that would be wrong, and failing. There are certian predators that simply need to be removed forom society, and our justice system isn't up to the task. |

Yes it does and here is why. You blame the actions of the INDIVIDUAL and not the INANIMATE OBJECT. Example: I can handle owning guns without going on a killing spree. Charles Manson cannot. The problem is the individual and not the object. I can handle looking at porn (including the infamous "Barely Legal" which means they are 18, thus legal btw) without becoming a pedophile or rapists. Pedophiles cannot. Again, the problem is the individual and not the object. Furthermore even WITHOUT guns Charles Manson is still a problem. And even WITHOUT porn a pedoshile is still a problem. Getting the picture yet? And finally, you saying "cute rhetorical trick, but it doesn't work" is tantamount to explaining to a gun grabber why the AW ban is stupid and him dismissing your explanation with a statement of denial. Simply put, just because you try and lay blame at the feet of an inanimate object doesn't mean that is where it belongs. The idea that porn of any kind can turn an otherwise normal individual into a rapist pedophile is as absurd as the idea that guns will make a otherwise normal individual into a serial killer. You either have that predisposition or you do not. If you do merely keeping porn and guns away from you doesn't make you safe. And conversely if you do NOT have that predisposition all the porn and guns in the world won't turn you into a killer or pedophile rapists. It is kinda like suggesting if I forced you to watch enough gay porn, eventually, you'd turn into a fag. I'm pretty sure that you are not in agreement with that idea, and if that is the case the exact SAME logic applies to the others. |
