This time though it's DI no 6.5 yet though Not terrible but not chrome or nitride, 4140 steel barrel, and the rail doesn't have tabs around the upper.... apparently it has a nitride barrel and on closer look the handguard has tabs around the upper |

Armalite (and I'm sure others; RRA made something like this at one point) made large frame AR style guns with M1A mag functionality. |

I do need to get me one someday, maybe this will be the one that does it for me. I would prefer a full rail on the handguard for a 16" rifle, but that's just me. |

I have… three I can think of. One is a guy I shoot 3-Gun with. He bought it specifically for a race gun due to size/weight. He’s abandoned it due and went to a standard DI system. Now the G2 system really seemed promising and I’m not familiar with widespread failures. I’m curious why it never really went anywhere. |
I absolutely LOVE, my ruger SR762, ACCURATE AS HELL ! 5 shot one hole groups no problem.  I’ll never sell it, regret selling my second one, which was just as accurate. Iv got 3 spare BCGs for it. I’ll buy another one if I ever find one reasonable. GREAT GUNS. Attached File |

M14, not FAL Bushmaster (and then later RRA) made an FAL-based .308 AR. It's a chonky boy.  (ETA: that's a 16" on the top and an 18" on the bottom, lol)

I love what Ruger produces and I’m sure it will be quality. They’ve done great by resurrecting Marlin. I just wish they would produce more of the lineup they offer. I would LOVE to buy a Hawkeye Hunter in an interesting caliber if they just made enough to be in stock anywhere. |
