| I was wondering what the best type of baclava is for the range. Nomex or Cotton? Nomex is flame retardent but cotton breathes.hinking.gif |

T-shirt, shorts, sandals. Why the hell do you wanna go to the range dressed like a terrorist/JBT? I like to be comfortable when I shoot. The guys who think they have to wear fatigues with trousers bloused above their $5 Surplus store jungle boots just to go to the range really crack me up. |

After 24 years of shooting at local ranges, I've noticed that the cool guys are the guys dressed in casual wear who can shoot their cool toys well. The tool guys wear combat boots, tac vests and the cheapest current issue BDUs they can afford. If you want to dress-up and play tactical, join an airsoft club. To answer your original question: Nomex. Not only are the balaclavas used by tac entry teams for keeping their IDs private, they also serve as protection if they have to work in a burning building or with explosives. |
