What is that little sub compact bullpup style sub-machine gun that they are using on Stargate SG-1 now?

Speaking of which, Richard Dean Anderson just made some anti-gun comments on From Stargate to Atlantis...

"Yeah we're the Air Force so we've gotta carry those things, but I'm not a proponent of guns. Actually quite the opposite"

Can't they just make their show without the commentary?

FN P-90? PDW

ETA: Richard Dean Anderson has been an anti all along.  He became vocal during his MacGuyver days.

Yep! That's it!

Those are cool looking guns.

Let's see now, we'd need to sunset the the '89 Import Ban and the '86 Machine Gun Ban, and convice the Attorney General of the state of Michigan that people should be allowed to own them.

Oh well, at least I can see them on TV

It has its place, but I wouldnt want to be caught in an open field with one.

In a sewer subway or structure however it very nearly rivals a shotgun.

I almost started a thread about his comment
just another liberal hypocrite
"yeah I hate guns, even though without them I'd still be unemployed since I did nothing after mcgyver got canned"
why didn't they interview Robert Patrick? they kept showing him so it looks like he's in more than just one or two scenes of Atlantis
he better go up to some alien and say "have you seen this boy?"

here are some related questions
what's up with that M16 varient Carter had all through season 7?
and what are those M16 looking shotguns they use from time to time, mainly in the early replicator episodes?

Shotguns were probably USAS-12!  Don't know about M-16 variants, have not seen them!

You would also have some barrel length rules to overcome; that thing with a 16 inch barrel would look goofy.

You forgot the part where he said everyone gets "wood" shooting those guns.

The M16 was one with a 6 to 8 inch barrel (or shorter).

This is in the TV gun FAQ's....
The producers could not get enough blank ammo for the P-90 due to the war on terrorism, so Carter got an M4 "Carter Special".

The shotguns are SPAS-12.

RD Anderson, if coherent, should refuse to make any movie that implies the use of guns. Thys hypocrit asshole, instead, is shitting where he is eating, because is UNTHINKABLE an adventure movie without a component of risks and gun scenes.

I hope that this crap will end and I will not see him anymore. Stopped to look "MacGiver" crap long time ago.
