I've been using it for a week or so.   The photoserver here doesn't care for it at all.

Also get a blank page when you hit the mickeysoft update page with it

Give MyIE2 www.myie2.com/html_en/home.htm a try. It work on top of IE. It adds tabbed browsing, pop up blocking, and may other useful features. I still use Firefox 0.9 but I like MyIE2 because sometimes Firefox won't open pages meant for only Internet Explorer.

This wouldn't be a problem if motherfuckers would actually code HTML according to standards instead of pandering to Uncle Bill.

I've tried Mozilla in the last week, I hate it.  Nothing but a renamed Netscape browser.  And I hate Netscape.

I don't like the whole UI.  Never cared for the functionality of it.

The only thing I use Netscape for these days is browsing porn.

Like I'm on cable and it wants to use a dial-up account.  Every now and then it asks to dial-up, I hit cancel and everything is fine.

I am posting this with firefox and I like it quite a bit.  My mouse jumps around a little sometimes but that doesn't hurt anything.  Give it a try, its a free download.

I'm not very tech inclined, hated IE, but was afraid to try another one (I have REALLY screwed up my computer in the past tring to do things I did not fully understand- once bitten twice shy).  I finally took the plunge and tried Firefox.  I love it.  Tab browsing is cool.  Spybot and Adaware scans find very little now, compared to when I ran IE.

It does have some problems with pics on AR15, though.

won't open pages meant for only Internet Explore

It is because too many people got sucked into this 'embrace, extend, and extinguish' Micro$oth krap. Properly coded HTML is rendered quicker in Mozilla,FireFox, or Opera. All the HTML/ASP extensions MicroSlop put into their rendering engine are designed to make the Internet a Micro$oth only area.

Try Mozilla/FireFox first since they don't have the nagware like an unregistered copy of Opera. Then try Opera. Use which fits your personal preferences.

For you guys using Firebird and Mozilla and hating them give it a little time. My first reaction to both was hate but after you get used to the interface and figure out how to use the tabbed browsing you see the benefits for general browsing over IE.

Ditto.

One more vote for Mozilla Firefox.

Edit:
The popup blocker and lack of spyware in Firefox is what I simply love. Haven't ever had a single popup while running firefox.

Hate to say it but Oprah (Opera).  I tried Firefox, even downloaded about 30 different modules.  Went through everything twice.  I wanted to like it, but I cant get it to do half as much as Oprah will do.

I use Opera.  Firefox is neat, but I keep getting these popup windows that I can't close, except by ending the Firefox process.  Clicking the X doesn't do it, neither does right clicking the button in the taskbar, and selecting Close, neither does alt-f4.  wtf?

At Opera's site you can either buy it for $39 or there is a free download option. What is the difference?

"free" leaves you with tons of ads, etc..

Firefox has a popup blocker built, turn it on.

Tools > Options > Web Features > Check “Block Popup Windows”

This is WITH the pop up blocker turned on.  I guess I should amend my above statement.  It's not popup ads.  It's pop up WINDOWS, like when you click on a link, and it pops up a new, small window.

Not exactally "tons" of ads.
It's just A bar at the top of the screen that changes pictures about every 10-15 seconds.
It's not bad, You don't really notice after A while.
It's like surfing ad suppourted web sites...Like AR15.com.
Besides Opera is worth the $$$ they charge.
