"Stealth" US Release Date: Summer 2005

Monday 28th June 2004: Stealth Update:
The USS Abraham Lincoln served as the set for Rob Cohen's next project Stealth starring Josh Lucas, Jessica Biel, Jamie Foxx and Sam Shepard. In the film, Navy officials decide to use an unmanned version of the "Talon," but when one of the planes begins attacking friendly forces, Navy pilots are called in to save the planet from artificial intelligence.

I think this is it.

Didn't I say that these pictures would be posted over and over again and again for the next few years...

Yep, might as well add this to the FAQ's.

Just so we remember which gun board we're talking about here...

Which gun does Al Pacino use in Heat?

Ok, back to your regularly scheduled idiocy...

I can't wait until this stupid movie comes out so this question will finally be answered.

Come on KA3B...the truth!!! You know that the movie plane story is a cover up for testing non-terrestrial technology incorporated into new carrier aircraft. The ion engines have to be marinized for longer life and they testing the ion boosters in a salt air envionment. It was in Aviation Week a few months ago...

Stop blowing smoke up the kids butts...

It is really a modified B-52... uh stealth version.  If you look close you can see the eight engines under the wings.

Methinks this is the much-touted (yet still hush-hush) Aurora.  The .mil let them borrow it for a prop so they could hide it in plain sight.

[nervously]"The Aurora?  Lord, no - that's a fictitious plane from a movie!"[/nervously]

[hijack]Seriously, though, anyone read "The Hunt for Zero-Point" by Jane's Defence Weekly aviation editor Nick Cook?  Opinions?[/hijack]

Actually it is a modified P-51 Mustang... uh stealth version.  If you look close you can see the propeller in front of the cockpit.

The propeller isn't from a Mustang, it's from a Sopwith Camel.

Sheesh. Newbies.

movie prop, but it does look pretty cool.

if we actually had something that looked like that, it would sure scare the piss out of the enemy

If we had a plane like that, the enemy would die laughing, right after they blew the shit out of it.

It ain't LO by a mile.  Actually that would be by 20 or 30 dB in the wrong direction.
