First, thank you (much!) for supporting the site!  

The update time period varies according to GoatBoy's schedule.  He is (despite rumors to the contrary) a productive member of society and works a real job.  This site is a hobby for him and he is the only one able to process membership upgrades.  Often it's later the same day, sometimes it takes two weeks.  Your membership is based upon the date you are upgraded, not the day you pay.  Again, thanks!
