Anyone else watching? Jesse, Jesse, Jesse...he called an AR15 a mini-14. They were down in Mexican and some Mexican cops came up and let them shoot their AR15s and handguns out in the desert. Guess Jesse should stick with bikes. |
Really? Might want to watch the goddamn show sometime then. I love how the discovery channel has made every dipshit that couldn't find 2nd gear on a motorcycle or tell you what a main jet in a cabuerator does into an instant expert on all things "fabrication". I thought the show was good. I would have liked to have seen more of the work he did with the copper. That was amazing with the rivets and everything. I guess with his celebrity status now they have to balance showing the building bits against airing his personal dirty laundry. The Kid Rock version of the Charlie Daniels song kicked ass too. If he hasn't ever he oughta record that. |

He divorced that whore. Him and Sandra Bullock are going at it right now. It's a good show. It's Jesse James. Most people don't like Jesse James or the Tuttles since they are sucsessful. While I don't think the Tuttles are all that talented compared to Indian Larry or Billy Lane they and do what they make more money than 99.9% of those who don't like them.

Over it. Now I can get back to more important things in life. Like watching new grass grow and listening to my voice crack. Be back in a few years Norman. flashlegs |
Yeah, after getting her pregnant. Kind of a shitty thing to do. A little off the subject, I found this page and thought it was pretty funny. www.chopperflop.com/ While I can appreciate the work and talent that goes into choppers, I don't really like the way they look for the most part. I prefer cruisers myself. |

I saw it and admire James' gift and talent. He truly is an artist, craftsman, and genius in what he does. Unfortunately, he is quite a whiny bitch and his celebrity is a detriment to him IMHO. I too wish they would have showed more of the fabrication and actual work on the bike(s) but as it is with TV these days they have to add drama and ruin a good thing. As for the OCC guys, they do not have the talent that a hell of a lot more guys have. Notice them bringing outsiders in to do the complicated or really skill demanding fabrication. The Tuttles are good businessmen and capitalists, and not so great craftsman especially when compared to their peers. I admire them for the former. |
Being that they are relatively new to the chopper business, I think they should be given a break. If you've watched the show since the beginning, you can see that they started out having a majority of their bike parts done out of house. As their business has grown and they accumulated talented fabricators, they've started making a lot of their own parts. When they are as big as Jesse James, I'm sure they will be making all the same parts that he does in his shop. Unless you've had personal experience with their bikes, I don't see how you can tell what the quality of their bikes are from a TV show. All the boring stuff like going over the bike, making sure everything is perfect is edited out. |

guys look BEHIND the scenes a little bit before dumping on his gun knowledge, he does own a few guns even a personally engraved gun from S&W. in the VOICE-OVER he mentions the mini14, a voice-over written by a liberal no gun knowledge writer/ producer type ??? jesse prolly walked into a sound booth and read what was on the paper how many months later ? is he an asshole? IMO, he can be, but i respect him for going out and signing the autographs for all the lookee loos (hard to do business like that), i mean he could tell them all to F off. the OCC guys are still new to the buisness, dont have a lot of room to grow and start producing there own designs in house, but they seem to be trying to do more of that. they are really bike mechanics for customers bikes, and do theme bikes for ADVERTISEMENT. |
The difference is, Jesse James was doing all the work from the get go. He had/has a gift and talent for this stuff, plus he can draw and put his ideas on paper then into metal. The Tuttels (the family, not the whole OCC crew) on the other hand aren't in the same league. Granted, James and lots of the other guys have skilled people working for them NOW, but they all started out pretty much alone and had talent and skill from the beginning. The thing with OCC is, there's a lot of window dressing and not much substance. I watch the show the mostly for entertainment and because I like mechanical things and such. To me, the difference between OCC and WCC and others is pretty apparent. |
