Someone from this ip address: 198.81.129.100 was just trying to connect with the computer I am using. What in the hell is going on? |

| Any idea where that computer is or to whom it belongs? Until I shut off the log on my zone alarm I stayed in a state of near apoplexy as one pop-up warning after another warned me that computers - sometimes dozens an hour - were trying to access my machine. Turned out that there are hacker programs and various less-spooky things that crawl the web trying to get into any computer they come across. Odds are it's nothing out of the ordinary. You probably know more about it than I do, but that's my experience with it. |
Well, I guess that's the last time I take the Imbro entity at face value, or treat it charitably. What a dick. |
|
Probably some cracker spoofing his/her IP address to look like the CIA's site. Some of them do have a sense of humor. If you've done nothing wrong, I wouldn't worry. If you have broadband, release your IP address for a new one. And like someone else said earlier, clean the spyware off you computer ASAP. Good Luck. |
I hope it is just some high school kid screwing around. |
He hasn't shown up for work in a few days and so his colleagues are just trying to contact him for the files he was supposed to give them. |
