I have a 2001 GMC w/ 4.8L V-8. I plan on purchasing a 22 ft Eliminator boat.

Will I have any problems towing with my 4.8 V-8?

I don't know much about boats. My buddy has an Eliminator and we took it out the other day. The thing is sweet. He says Eliminators are the best.

Are Carreras good boats?

How much does the Eliminator (with trailer) weigh?

Does your GMC have the optional towing package (external ATF cooler, bigger radiator, lower rear axle ratio, etc.)?

Check out the weight specs on the boat/trailer. Also check out your towing specs for your truck.

At the very least you will need to install a brake controller.
