| Man, I wish I could post a pic like that. I've trapped 3 rats this spring in my garage and each one takes longer and longer to catch. The one that's there now is making me nuts. I've tried everything for about two weeks now. My garage is dangerous to me with all the damn poison and traps. |
Heck that ain't no clean kill!!!!!!!. It looks to me that the enemy was hit by no less than 6 small arms fire and then was finally taken down while trying to get out of the X style ambush, by two ea claymores. The war isn't over. Where there's one there more. Watch your SIX !!!!! WarDawg

Now, they quite clearly used modern, spring-loaded traps. This is obviously unethical. They should have gathered the village together with handmade brooms and swatted at the rodent until it was squashed in a non-celebratory way, or driven out into the forest where it could hop and scamper with Bambi and Flower and the rest of the cute and furry animals. |
|
The scattered empties, they're from his weapon right? Since it's not in the photo, I'm assuming you've secured the weapon. Looks like a nasty firefight. It does look staged though, are you sure you didn't kill him outside and then drag the body inside? Good forensics will show the truth you know Edit: The second pic was added while I typed my response, it appears an all out war is brewing. They've taken GI Joe!! |
I'm guessing the Village Idiot is not allowed to participate, and therefore does not become knowledgeable about such things, eh? |

You need to get rid of those bonyassed made in china traps and get some real ones...! I'll Bitch Slap Yo Ass Trap Co LTD... <-------click me |
I have a #15--they are hell on trespassers. |
The #16 is a bit expensive. I was thinking of getting a #15. Can you set it by yourself? What does it do to a 2x4? Sure do look bad...! |
Yes, you can set it alone, but it requires a C-clamp thingy and a U-clamp to hold the first one you compress. Despite the ad copy, they are not tempered properly to be used. The jaws are brittle, and some break when they are fired. The setting kit is available from trap supply houses for about $25. In the few places it is legal to trap bears they are using these. Some break, but at $750-$1300 for old traps, it's cheaper to just put up with some breakage. Mine is for decoration only. Very cool. If you are curious, check ebay for "bear traps" and look at some of the old ones. Very cool, very expensive these days. |
Thanks for the info. I figgered they were Chinese copys due to the "cast jaws". I wanted one for a decoration also. I have a bunch of the small ones that I picked up a garage sales and thought it would be pretty cool to have "Big Daddy" ! |

3 rats sitting around that bar braggin about who is the toughest bad ass rat.... First rat says, when I find those rat traps I eat the cheese, and get on my back and do 50 presses with the bar. Second rat says when I find that powder rat killer I break out a dollar bill and do a few lines with it... Third rat looks at his watch and says, "Sorry fellas I gotta go". First two rats look puzzled as he finishes off his beer and gets up. "Time for me to go fuck the cat". |
