I just got back from watching Shrek 2 with my girl and our two daughters. Lots of laughs for the kids and plenty of adult humor. My youngest fell asleep after the first 30 minutes. Don't let that sway you from thinking it's a good flick, she'd fall asleep in a blender!

I loved it! A definate must see for the adults and kids. Anyone else seen it yet?

Cameron Diaz even somehow managed to sneak Justin Timberlake into the movie.
They've been dating for a while now. Eddie Murphy is his usual hilarious self. Antonio Banderas plays a swashbuckling crazy spanish cat with a mesmorizing soft side. There's even a spoof on COPS in the movie. Overall, a great flick. The animation at times is amazingly real!

Shrek 2: Not just for the kids!

Puss In Boots stole the movie, adults will find it even funnier than kids and it is better than Shrek I.
I give it:
out of five.

Has the potential to be this year's big blockbuster.  Harry Potter and Spiderman 2 will give tons of competition though.

The COPS spoof was the best part of the movie!
After Puss in Boot's "That's not mine" qoute I nearly fell out of my chair laughing.

It probably wouldn't have been nearly as funny if I hadnt seen it on the real COPS show so many times.

I agree.  When he went off on Shrek and popped out of his chest a la' aliens, I laughed so hard. He had alot of other great moments too.

My wife and I loved it.  Puss in Boots did steal the show at times, and Pinocho in the thong.

I agree! Friggin HEEELARIOUS!

We took our 20 month old to see it... It was her very first movie! She laughed, pointed and "wowed" the whole time. She was great.

Puss in Boots licking himself... Too damn funny!

I liked it better than the first.

I was laughing so hard at the Pinochio part that I almost threw up.

"Let's shave him"

"Fear me... if you dare."

Shrek 3 comes to theatres in December 2006.
Donkey and Dragon had babies. No doubt Shrek will need their asistance in part 3.

We might just have to see it again. My 2 1/2 year old fell asleep half way through the first time.
