everbody says that if you get info from them and its not in writting its crap (TRUE)or that i cant belive he lied to me...well there is no law that i know of that says LEO and such cant lie in fact they do everyday during investigations I.E. "i know you did it ive got your fingerprints"

Whats your .02

P.S. even something in writting could be wrong

No, I think that LEOs should be able to trick criminals.

BUT I believe burn was refering to a question about the legality of an auto sear. If you call ATF or DOJ and they tell you it's okay, most will believe it. And take this bad info as permission.

I don't think we need another LEO bashing post.

It is quite a double standard..we give them false info and we can be charged...they give us false info, we follow the advice, and we can be charged. And you can't hold them accountable for the wrong info either.
