Dude, if you find better quality women, you wont get crabs, and you wont need a corn cob to satisfy her...

But hey, if thats your thing, dine away

We have a large pig roast for our employees and their families.  15 Pigs gonna be roasted.  It is an all night event.

Rice, beans, sausage, onions and peppers.  The usual BBQ fare.

Menu..

Home grown chicken, beer, ducks, beer, possibly a calf if enough people show up. Thinking about one of the hogs frequenting the woods. Corn on the cob, salad, beer, other delectable goodies the family units bring over. Did I mention beer?

Brisket, chicken, sausage, corn on the cob unshucked all smoked on the pit. Homemade bread and pineapple upside down cake also cooked on the pit. BEER.

Dude!!  They're my potatoes!!!  I can't tell, or then they would be Propguy's potatoes!!!

Seriously though....nothing special.  Just potatoes cubed up, and pan-fried(start the pan with a huge chunk of butter) with garlic, salt, pepper, minced dried onion.  The last five minutes you add roasted&peeled green chile.  Put into a large bowl or serving dish, top with freshly grated cheddar cheese.  Serve quickly/hot.

Horrrible for your weight/cholestrol.  We usually just make them on holidays...  Not real great re-heated the next day.  But absolutely awesome!!!

Either fresh walleye, perch and bluegill or fresh salmon/trout.

This Sunday, I will either be fishing the tributary rivers of Lake Michigan (if the floods subside) or several local lakes in search of table fare for Monday.

Cooked in foil w/ lemon, salt an pepper and a pat of butter. Great stuff!

KA3B: See your doctor, a tube of Kwell will rid you of those pesky crabs. ("City Chiggers" in St. Louis)  (I'm surprised no one beat me to the punch on that)

I'm going to a lake Thursday that I've never been to here in AZ that has walleye, so hopefully I can have some fresh fillets also.

Otherwise, we stocked in some porterhouses, pork ribs, brats and Italian sausage. The GF's sister wanted us to rent a cabin with her and her husband this weekend, but there's 2 holiday weekends I NEVER travel anymore: Memorial and 4th of July.

Too much traffic and too many crazies.

I'll while away the time this weekend in the pool or at the grill, cold frosty beverages close at hand.

I might take a venture to a popular lake and hang out by the boat launch on Saturday. A lawn chair, a couple of sammiches and a cooler of beer...oh yeah and a cam-corder.

Memorial Day weekend is traditionally the first weekend where all the weekend warriors get their boats out for the first time.

Any public boat launch is the location for every idiot in the state to come and show the world the ineptitude of their trailer backing skills. Also, this is the time they realize their motor won't start, the battery has gone dead, they have no gas, they forgot the drain plug, they forgot the boat ignition key,  they forgot to unstrap the boat, ...etc, etc...all the while there are dozens of other people waiting to launch their own boats, and losing paitence as the minutes tick by.

One of these days I will have to actuall bring the camcorder and record some of these idiots. There are times when people come close to duking it out with other idiots.

The boat strapped to the trailer is my personal favorite.  It has to be seen to be believed.  I see it at least once a year - usually Memorial Day or the 4th of July.

Pulling the hinge pin on the trailer is a good one also ......half way down the ramp ohhhhhh fu#% skegs, prop, fiberglass on the transom ,etc etc ............

I've actualy seen people start their PWC's and outboards while on the trailer...in the lot. No water to help cool the engine. Not just for 15 seconds...but they let it idle while backing the trailer into the water.....

Another is unhooking the bow of the boat on a roller trailer prior to backing down the ramp...D'OH!

My wife wanted to go to that concert so bad!!!!  The friggin ticket prices were rediculous.  Especially considering the venue.

That place is too damn large to have concerts in.
