Hi all,
A couple of months ago, I decided to take the MSF course and (based on that course) decide whether or not to get a motorcycle.  Despite the fact that I got on the waiting list for MSF courses, it seems that they scheduled the whole summer without me getting a slot; it must have been a long list.  Are there any other similar organizations that offer training courses?  I'd really like to take one before deciding whether or not I should take the plunge on a motorcycle (so to speak).

TIA!

BAsically, MSF develops the curriculum and trains/certifies instructors.  Each state has it's own training program based on MSF curriculum.  In some states it's a "state" program, and in others there are independent contractors who run schools for the state.

As far as I know, MSF courses (taught within the respective state programs) are the only training available.

Harley Davidson offers the Rider's Edge training program.

Honda also has training centers, but only a handful of sites.

I'm not sure about others.

Try Keith Code's classes.  They have all levels of learning that should help you improve your riding skills.
