I have to admit it, I'm a Movie Soundtrack addict. To me, the soundtrack makes the movie.

Platoon, besides being an incredible document of American War history, also has a KICK ASS soundtrack. (I believe it got an oscar)
I'm tempted to buy the CD, only for one song though, and all the "soundclips" from Amazon aren't long enough for me to determine if that song is on the Soundtrack CD.
The song I'm looking for plays when everyone is on the helicopters escaping from hostile territorry, and last second they see Elias running from the vc. (in-fucking-credible score)
Do you guys know what I'm talking about? Do you know if the CD has it?

Samuel Barber - Adagio for Strings is the with the violen; the one played when Alias is shot in the back and falls for the last time. The creepy jungle music I havn't really searched for so I can't tell yah.

I know the bit you're looking for, can't put a name to it, and I don't have the soundtrack to check if its there.

Might I suggest kazaalite as the "try before you buy" option?
