I figured that I'd just put the character's name as the subject so those who knew who he was would be the ones who dropped in. IIRC, Frank Castle is the main character who was a gov't agent who "had it all" until some BG's took out his family and everything else he had. He became a vigilante looking for revenge. I expect a lot of weapons-play in this movie. Probably not very realistic, but should be entertaining at least. [:D} EDIT: added links for pics in case they decided not to show up (sometimes they do, sometimes they don't). I didn't make them "hot" because you'll have to cut and past them for them to work if they don't show up. |

I'm looking forward to it, and will probably love it, but I don't think it's gonna play too well moneywise, which sucks....... Though it looks like they're keeping to what I remember of the Punisher (been a LONG time since I read the comics), dark, brutal, but with a strong code of honor and a twist of dark humor..... |

I liked the comic books back when I used to still read them, the Punisher's Armory was pretty cool also. I hope they have the guts to make it hard core enough, like the way The Punisher was written by Frank Miller in Daredevil comics. I see the white boots did not make the cut... |

If you haven't read the Miller Daredevils and are into comics you should! I read the Punisher now and the movie is based of off the 1999-2001 12 issue series done buy Garth Ennis and Jimmy Palmiotti and they are both great comic writters so if the directors follow their comic for this movie (which they supposedly have done, as said by marvel) then this movie will be both gory and full of dark comic humor! Frank is a true anti hero with a vengence and thats what makes him such a great character. ~ CoLd |
