Called my brother Rich this morning got voice mail. Left a message to have him call. Our brother Bob is dying of cancer. Rich called work left a message. "I'm not at work. Katie is in the emergency room, no the intensive care. One of us may be home later. They are going to remove some thing hopefully she can breath on her own". She is 21 years old. Wife gets a call from Rich. Katie took something at her boyfriends house. Threw up and her breathing slowed down to 2 breaths per minute. Paramedics said if she had not thrown up and wakened her boy friend she would have been dead. She's home doing okay. Brother Bob is in hospital. Doesn't look like he has much longer to go. Bob is 58. Wife and I lost a daughter at 13. Hug them and kiss them while you can you never know. Gerry |
