Ok, I do NOT want this one to descend into another Automotice Holy War between the import & domestic guys...
It would be an update on my last thread, but that one was hijacked so badly it's unsalvageable.
As you recall, I'm looking at 3 F-bodies, 2 97 Z28s and a 95 Trans Am. The cars have 70,000 (97 Green), 60,000 (97 Black) and 50,000 (T/A) mi respectively. Firm prices are $7695, $8700, and $7500.
The 97 Black, which most of you who answered my poll reccommended, had the price go up $700 because a tire went out and the owner replaced them all. I got him to come down $1.1k. However, the tires are on 17" aftermarket rims that I'd rather not have, and unless E-bay is wrong, rims don't sell, and there's no way in hell I'll even get $700 for them (more like $150, new tires & all). Since the stock rims are 16", the new tires are useless to me. Also for sale would be a $400 Sony head unit, and a $200 MTX sub & box (prices are original retail). The stock stuff comes with the car too...
The 97 Green car has a busted window switch & a burnt out light bulb in the radio. It's from a used car dealer, and he said he'd get that fixed prior to delivery.
The 95 has a busted window motor, and the lowest milage...
I like the black 97, but would rather stay at $8k or below. I really don't want any of the aftermarket crap, and would sell it if I got it (& if I could).
I'm thinking I'll revise my offer to Mr 97 Black, and say $8 for the car, you keep the rims/tires/stereo stuff. If he says no, I don't know that 10k mi is worth an additional $1100. Then 97 Green...
Any comments? Anyone know a good way to sell off unwanted rims & stuff? I have a feeling the head unit & sub might sell on e-bay, but I'm doubtful about the wheels...

(No T/A pic. It's silver, 1995)...
