I finally have a garage and recently bought myself a tablesaw.  Now I see that radial arm miter saws are on sale.  So are air compressors and drill presses.

DAMN!!  This is worse then being addicted to AR15s!

Then stay away from the milling machines and metal lathes.

Can you still count to ten without taking off your shoes and socks?

Then a power planer, and a power jointer.  You'll need a router and a router table.  How about a scroll saw?  Might as well add an arc welder too.

I feel your pain! After years of cutting metal with a sawzall I sprung for a chop saw. Finally, cuts are square and I can speed up the process of making things. I also went for a small air compressor for my gun room. Tired of running back and forth filling up/using the old air tote bottle.

Just wait until you go so far as to pre-wire for a vehicle lift that you don't have and can't afford.  Then you will be up to my level.  [whacko]

Just realize that there are pre and post-ban versions of power tools also.  Especially the Rigid power tools.  The older gray ones were by Emerson electric and are more sought after becuase of the better motors. Supposedly they are better than the newer orange versions made by the new owners.

Don't change router bits, just change routers.

Before you get any other stationary tools, get an air compressor.  Belt drive, cast iron cylinders, and at least 4 HP. You will likely get more use out of this than any other tool in your shop.
