The PC version of "Knights of the Old Republic" is pretty frickin' amazing, if you're into sci-fi RPG's and have a lot of time to kill.

Battlefield 1942...it's great.

I also love playing the Desert Combat mod to it, all single-player.

It's nice playing a game where they're not out to kill you, and JUST you.

Call of duty
Halo
Max Payne 2
MS Flight Simulator 2004 (not really a game but if you've got the CPU and vid card it's spectacular).  You can "dumb it down" if you're not a pilot or sim driver and still enjoy it.

Oh, there's a demo out for a release in April called "Painkiller" FPS.  Great stuff!

Ive got some games for sale in the "everything else" sale board that will give your PC a heart attack if it is not at least a 900MHZ P3!

Dukes of Hazzard: Racing for Home
Knight Rider
I tried Muscle Car '76, but WinXP won't run it because it is meant for Win98.

If you liked Fallout then try Silent Storm and Jagged Alliance 2. And Fallout Tactics if you haven't played it. And of course the original XCOM and XCOM: Terror From the Deep (both available for free now).

dmaas those are my favorite games. XCOM is the reason I bought my first computer.

That is good, I finished it in just under 24 hours.  Also might want to look into Morrowind.

To test out the gaming abilities of that new rig, go to http://www.futuremark.com/download/?3dmark03.shtml and download 3DMark.

It is a pretty amazing video exercise, chocked full of eye candy.

Well worth the download, and you can actually see what kind horsepower you have under the hood of that new machine.

Enjoy,

Download the farcry demo. Really nice engine. Not as revolutionary as HL2 will be (it's coming soon, really), but a nice improved engine nonetheless.

Ghost Recon
The Rogue Spear series that has Tom Clancy's name on them.

I love all those Tome Clancy games. I wish they made a collectors edition starting with Rainbow Six.

Call of Duty
Medal of Honor

I actually like Medal of Honor better, with regard to storylines.

Call of duty has a little better animation and useage of controls/weapons.

Delta Force: Black Hawk Down and its expansion Team Sabre are great as single or multi player.  They're along the whole Ghost Recon thread.
