This may go to the equipment exchange if the guy decides he wants to sell it. Anyway, the question is, with the possible expiration of the AWB, would a 3 digit serial number Colt SP-1 still command a good price? I'm asking for a Colonel who bought it new.

I would think one that's complete and as low serial numbered as you state would be/hold it's value fairly well, as not much will change the fact that it's a early example of the SP1.
