| Wanted to start a thread about Expansion Ammuntion over in Dallas. They’re a small company that sells factory new Ammuntion in the common calibers .223, 5.56, .308, 9, 40, and 45. I’ve ran quite a bit of their 223 55gr FMJ and have zero problems with it. I got my sister to run a match with the rifle I built her last Christmas. It was a single gun match but each shooter shot 300 rounds. I also ran their stuff at this years Noveske carbine series match, over 400 rounds. So between my sister and I we’ve shot close to 1500 rounds no problem. I haven’t grouped it at 100 yds but for sighting her gun in at 50yds it held a 10rnd group at 50 about an inch with a 1.5-4 and a ALG act with faxon gunner barrel that was brand new. So about what you expect out of 55gr fmj. They also run a rewards program. |
