| Are all Bushmaster upper receivers stamped somewhere? I have one that was sold to me as a Bushmaster but I have never been able to find a stamp or logo of any kind. The barrel is stamped though. |

Hey, I like monosyllabic words (besides it was all I could think of)! [:D] Do you see any markings (letters, emblems, whatever)? That might help. If it's an A2 style upper, you may find a forge mark just ahead of the rear sight (probably on the right). I say might because Colt, Bushmaster, Diemaco, DPMS, RRA, OLY, and others are currently using Anchor Harvey upper receivers and carry handles. AFAIK, all Anchor Harvey receivers are marked "A" over"H" ("slithered A"). If you can't find anything, you can probably still tell where it was born by certain machining & tool marks, but you'd have to post a couple close-ups. |

Just for the fun of it, I am posting the close ups. I am wanting to sell the upper but I need to verify that it is really BM so that I dont rip anybody off. Since this was my first AR, I never questioned the dealer who sold it to me and I didnt really know what I was doing. Still dont really...lol. |

LOL....now that you mention it...the color of the upper and lower are a bit off in real time too. I think the lighting in the pics accentuates it a bit more though. These are the best pics I could get with my camera, probably wont help much.
