| Hey guys i'm in the middle of a debate with someone over the ability of the .50BMG round to penetrate the armor of a bradley fighting vehical using standard ball ammo. At what distances would that be likely to happen(if at all) and after what distance would that not be a possibility. |

APIT might work at close range, but an AT-4 or RPG is much safer... |

I've only had a chance to put 20 rounds out of my .308 and I'm dying to shoot it and actually get the scope zeroed ratehr than "just close". Let me know. |
| IIRC the Big Bad Brad is supposed to take up to 30mm from Russian type APC's. Could be wrong on that though. Also, the newer ones have additional add on armor plates spaced a few inches from the hull that are 1/2" or more thick. A .50 shouldnt be able to get inside at any range. An M113 is a different story though. |
