I've been meaning to post this for a while. Thanks for the reminder. Old brewery became massive pot farm The mammoth scale of two Toronto-area marijuana grow-operations busted on the weekend shows that “commercial marijuana factories have reached epidemic proportions in Ontario,” police said Monday. A joint operation by officers of the Ontario Provincial Police and the Barrie Police Service at a former Molson brewery, a stone's-throw from a busy highway, turned up thousands of plants I had to laugh when my Dad told me about this. |

Quoted: Quoted: http://www.ohio.com/mld/beaconjournal/ A catholic priest busted for growing plants in the church. Is no place sacred from the JBT [:)] Don't druggies and child molesters hang out in the same circles? Birds of a feather.... I would bet the marijuana that was grown was for medicinal purposes. I will not begrudge a person who is dying from a disease a small amount of relief that marijuana may provide them -- I am not heartless like Uncle Sam. |

Nowhere in the article does it say that he was doing it for altruistic reasons. He was however, taking advantage of a church as a place of sanctuary by using it for an ILLEGAL drug manufacturing facility. That truth, whether we think drugs should be legalized or not, can not be evaded. Don't do the crime, if you can't pay the time, Father Arko. Man- he gonna have fun in da Big House.... |
