I have the English version on Beta. The Hebrew and other translated on VHS. Just the Translated version on DVD. |

Apparently, the Israeil film producers made the movie, Operation Thunderbolt (1977) in an English version as well. They filmed the scenes in English. I have a copy on Betamax that I recorded off of HBO. Back before Uzis were cool. The other copies that I have are in Hebrew and the other characters's languages. How does the movie compare to the historical facts? Being sponsored by the Israeli government gives the flick a hint of propaganda. Well all know what happened. They kicked some ass and saved lives. There were some losses. |

That era of actors seemed better or I'm just nostalgic, even though they're a little before my time. Another actor I liked watching was Lee Marvin like the movie Hard Times http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-5BHPynekXCQ/VDbOWJnN0ZI/AAAAAAAAD4g/9O55bO6WGZI/s1600/Hard%2BTimes%2BTrio.jpghttps://i.pinimg.com/originals/9e/2f/69/9e2f69764ae7d6939fd159f45a7dfe33.jpg |

Ok so my father was a WW2 B24 Liberator pilot that after the war. He was instrumental in the Israeli air force after the war.
In 1976 we had an Israeli family and pilot staying with us for the fourth of july. The father the pilot had to leave us and fly back to Israel. Little did we know but he was one of the pilots for the raid. After it was completed he came back to the US to join us...it was very cool...never ever forgot that and I am going to be 56 now. He was later killed in his Phantom Jet. |
