Tisas of Turkey makes a Hi Power clone.

The pistol is imported here and sells for 700 bucks.

I'd hit it.

If Browning really is exiting the HP market, I'd be interested in a clean clone.  Especially if it wasn't at a retarded price like Browning puts on the Mk3.

Not for $700 I wouldn't. Maybe $400. Maybe.

Just say no to all things benefiting the Turkish economy?  The Turks are not our friends.

Interdasting.

Picked up one of their 1911 clones awhile ago. Internal machining was superb but the outside, especially the control surfaces were rough as guts.

I choose to be friendly with their gun companies. If Norinco could export AKs and such into the US again I'd be friendly with them too.

Maybe if the major US manufactures would stop fucking-over the gun buying public with sub-par and over-priced offerings the Turks would not be able to compete.

Interesting that a third world clone costs $700. Aren't the real things like $900ish new?

At a rate of 1 CDN = .78 USD, which is what google reflects as I am typing this, those pistols are retailing for just under $550 USD [$546].

No shits given about their liberties. Enough with the nation building.

As long as they keep making/exporting solid performing guns at reasonable prices I'm all for it.
