Well, just renewed our annual passes to Disneyland. $800 each after discount for being existing AP holders. Cheaper for us to get APs than to buy tickets every time we go. If we would have bought tickets last year, it would have cost us a hair over $1,800 bucks each for the 18 days we spent in the parks. Yeah, I'll save the $2,000. Food and merchandise discounts (20%/15%) is pretty nice too. Not to mention the passholder events, free parking, hotel discounts, etc...
Any other Annual Passholders here? |

Yes. It's the Signature pass. The only blockout days are the last two and a half weeks of the year. Quoted:

I'm gin a take my kid there in a few years when he's older and I'm already stressing out about it. You must like people....lots of people in a small area. |

We used to be. But after DL has become so politically correct, we became Knott's passholders. No PC, less $$ and no where near as crowded. PLUS there is Knotts Scary Farm and other than the damn spiders... fun shit. |

Wife and I have Premier passes good for FL and CA. Currently, it also includes the Max Pass for Disneyland/California Adventure. Not sure we're going to renew at approx. $1400 each. We may just get the Signature Plus for CA only and save a little bit. We will be in FL in Oct., but don't see us going back next year.
Wife's job is stressful and Disney seems to bring her back to center. I buy guns, she goes to Disney. |

Wife and I are the same. We tried several different places for vacations. But, nothing resets both my wife and I more than a week or two at Disney. Plus my two kids love it. Looking forward to checking out Pandora at Animal Kingdom while we're there in October. |

A little over a month before me and my boy go. He turns 5 about a week after we get back. Counting down the days!! Going to ride the crap out of pirates of the Caribbean! Also going to try the restaurant that they have inside the ride. |

I gotta admit, Epcot's my favorite Disney place. Especially, eating my way around the world during the Food and Wine Festival. Looking forward to checking out Pandora at Animal Kingdom while we're there in October. I'm hoping the lines for Pandora will calm down by October, but I'm not holding my breath. I'm more excited for Star Wars, but thats a couple years or so off. The new hotel they are building will be amazing. Star Wars Hotel |

Ours are $600 each and we get 4 parks to go to, the same discounts, free Photopass, free parking, free magic band, and no blackout dates. We also found out this trip that we get $22 off one-day park hopper tickets. That came in handy for my wife's nephew. |

I love checking out the butthut posts from the people who don't know HOW to do Disney. No one offers the service they do. People who say they see everything in less than a day lol. That's how you know they either haven't went since 1964, or are lying. |

We go to DW, Lego, Universal, Busch Gardens at least a couple of times a year.
Last time we went to DW they had $139 3 day multi park pass. That was a great deal for our family. The resident annual passes for BG and Lego (Free teacher annual pass for me), allow us to mix it up. I know DL is a bit different. DW and Universal trips always involve property stays for us. The benefits for staying on property and going to the parks are awesome. |

Around 2000 I was getting annual passes for $150 and a night at the Yacht Club was $99 with the deals they mailed you.
Ticket prices are outrageous in general but the annual pass is just ludicrous. Good on ya for being able to fork out that much at once. We own at the Beach Club and just bank our points every other year. Can't afford to buy tickets (or annual passes) every year anymore. Eisner was pretty good. Iger is a money grubbing scumbag. I guess they're starting to realize people won't put up with his shit as now the perks are increasing. We got a flat discount at all restaurants. The Epcot lounge was nice too. |

We went a couple times last year and enjoyed the trip. It would be awesome if there were not all those people there on jazzy carts or baby strollers. I swear those fuckers will run you over if you let them. |

Disneyland has only 3 Disney owned (on property) hotels. The cheapest runs $450 a night. There are a number of hotels/motels right across the street for under $150/night and are actually closer to the front gates than the Disney hotels. You can get some good deals on the properties here. There are different tiers of quality though and the prices reflect it. |

What the hell do you do in there 18 days in a year? Fuck, the one in FL wasn't worth going to for a day when I was like 10 ![]() |
