Chinese Embassy Fire Houston
Employees/spies didn't want to exit the building and they didn't want the firefighters to go in certain parts of the building. What does a firefighter do in this case. Check all spaces anyway? Respect the immunity and skip some spaces? Leave and tell them to call the Chinese fire department? |

I put the phone lines in that place.
Pretty creepy. They had workers in blue coveralls doing their day to day stuff. Looked like their "dormitory" was constructed from 2X4's. Which is where the blue coverall guys Were hanging out. There was a taller fella with slacks and a button down shirt who stuck to me like glue The whole time i was in there. His English was pretty good. There were definitely places they Didn't want you to see. |

Pardon my ignorance, but why is a foreign consulate anywhere other than D.C.? There are foreign nationals living/working all over the US, and consulates/embassies places other than DC help with any issues their citizens have over here or any individuals/businesses trying to do business with/in their countries. Same reason we have consulates in places like Hamburg, Frankfurt, etc. The Czechs have an honorary consulate here in Temple TX because of the high Czech population in the area, and the Czech ambassador has visited in the past. |
| Sovereign territory. Their choice. If they want it to burn, let it burn as long as it doesn't threaten neighboring structures or produce toxic chem. If the latter is true, WE have the right to do whatever is necessary to protect the other structures and/or the public's health. |

I've been to the Swedish consulate in Phoenix a couple of times. I found it rather strange that everyone working there had the same last name. You guys cloning people, or is it just one big happy family? Or is this something else? Something that after you told me, I'd say "I didn't want to know that, I did NOT want to know that!". lol Quoted:

This. If the US embassy in St. Petersburg was burning would we allow the Sov...er...Russian firefighters into a SCIF? Sucks for them, but I understand why they'd refuse access. |

The ONLY embassies in the United States are in Washington D.C., so this is Fake News.
The only foreign diplomatic offices outside of D.C. are Consulates.
