I'm about to the point where I need to reorder personal checks. I usually order I don't know 200 at a time maybe and use 1-2/month so it's a long long time between reorders. I use the carbon duplicate checks whatever the hell they're called and regular style size checkbook checks. The last ones I ordered God knows when were like tissue paper to me. Know where I can order some checks with a decent weight paper?

I ordered mine from Wal-Mart. They are decent, and cheap.  I only write 2 checks a month usually.  I will also use checks when I order gravel, exterminator, or pay vehicle taxes. City charges $2.00 for debit card use.

I've used Checks-In-The-Mail, out of Texas, for 20 years, biz and personal.

This.  Bought Walmart checks about 6 years ago, I got 1000 for some stupid-cheap price.  Probably a lifetime supply for us.

Between online payments and e-Pay through my CU, the only checks written any more are for gifts or school-type things for the kids. Maybe 10-15 a year.

Another vote for Wal-Mart.  I hate the damn stores but their check stock can't be beat.
